ACTING.

Matt Yang King is best known for his roles as Appa and Momo in the Live Action Avatar: The Last Airbender, Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat 1, Marty Mantle on Riverdale, Lutz and Alan Ripple in Pixar's Elemental, and Kerry Eurodyne in Cyberpunk 2077.  He has lent his talents to iconic characters in franchises such as The Witcher, GI Joe, Transformers, Batman, Justice League, as well as starring in the Netflix series Not Quite Narwhal, and Trese as well as his acclaimed work on the David Fincher/Tim Miller Netflix series Love, Death and Robots. With long-running stints on shows like 24, Numb3rs, Baki Hanma and Pixar’s Cars on the Road, King has showcased his ability to tackle diverse characters and genres.

Writing.

In 2023 Matt signed his first deal with FOX on his project Bang and Burn starring Gina Torres, which he collaborated with his longtime writing partner Peter Gamble. Most recently Matthew has continued his relationship with FOX on an upcoming project with EP Gina Torres. Matt is the also creator of Steam, now in development. He also has created a new cartoon based on the award winning web-series Goblins: Life Through Their Eyes by Ellipsis Stephens featuring the voices of Futurama, My Little Pony and Winnie the Pooh called Goblins Animated.  He is also the winner of the CAPE/Hollywood Foreign Press Young Screenwriters Award, for the horror script The Harrowing (co-written with Peter Gamble) now in development, a finalist for Scriptapalooza and winner of the Tribeca Words From Here contest for his horror short Dog Days. He was also a Semi-Finalist for the Nicholl Fellowship for his script The Life and Death of Ernest P Fantastic.
